Here is just a sampling of our client success stories:

• A client was spending all evening until midnight trying to reconcile their bank account. They now hire Accounting & Payroll Services, Inc. to reconcile the bank account and produce financials in about 2 hours per month.
• We set up a customized inventory system for a used car dealership, allowing them to see their profits and inventory levels at any given time during the month.  We trained their personnel to the point that they rarely need our assistance.
• We designed an accounts payable check so that the check stub prints 96 invoice numbers and amounts, saving the voided checks that print out with the accounts payable check in the Peachtree® system.
• We have filled in for absent bookkeepers for running payroll, printing accounts payable checks and sending out invoices.
• Our services include creating importing/exporting to streamline many of the activities and reports that may be specific to your business.  We have resolved issues with importing sales from another program into Peachtree® as well as creating an extensive billing program in Microsoft Access.
• Accounting and Payroll Services, Inc. assisted a company which was using Quick Books®. We quickly discovered that their current bookkeeper was not qualified for the position. To cover the errors, the bookkeeper stashed accounts payable invoices in a drawer. We also found that receipts had been applied to the customers, frequently creating a credit balance, without the bookkeeper checking out the situation. We found and fixed the errors and setup systems for the bookkeepers to follow.
• A small company called Accounting and Payroll Services, Inc. for help when their bookkeeper left. Their intention was to use our services once a week instead of hiring a new bookkeeper. We found that their bookkeeper had been paying the three employees their gross wages and had not been taking out payroll taxes. As they were using Quick Books® and had not paid for the tax service, they were calculating the taxes manually and writing manual checks.  The problem had been hidden from the boss. We cleaned up the past year, fixed the current year and setup procedures.
• We have helped one company take the best of a point-of-sale software and Peachtree® software. The point-of sale software was designed to be the only accounting software, however, Accounting and Payroll Services, Inc. found that software lacking. It was also designed to export the data and import it into Peachtree®. The transition included fixing many errors, but now the system works almost flawlessly.
